Gempa Ganggu Sebagian Layanan NTT Com

TOKYO, 14 Maret /Kyodo JBN-AsiaNet/ —

NTT Communications (NTT Com) mengumumkan pada tanggal 14 Maret bahwa
beberapa layanannya telah terganggu akibat gempa bumi kuat yang melanda wilayah
Tohoku dan Kanto, Jepang pada hari Jum’at, 11 Maret.

Layanan IP-VPN dan e-VLAN perusahaan sebagian telah terputus di wilayah
Tohoku. Perusahaan ini tengah berupaya memulihkan sepenuhnya layanan ini.

Kabel bawah laut yang menghubungkan Jepang dengan Amerika Serikat dan
negara-negara lain di Asia sebagian telah rusak, namun perusahaan itu telah
menggunakan rute kabel cadangan untuk mempertahankan layanan tanpa gangguan.

Layanan pusat data NTT Com telah beroperasi tanpa gangguan.

Earthquake Causes Partial Disruption of NTT Com Services

TOKYO, Mar. 14 /Kyodo JBN-AsiaNet/ —

     NTT Communications (NTT Com) announced on March 14 that some of its services have been disrupted by the powerful earthquake that hit the Tohoku and Kanto regions of Japan on Friday, March 11.

     Enterprise IP-VPN and e-VLAN services have been partially unavailable in the Tohoku region. The company is making every effort to fully restore these services. 

     Submarine cables connecting Japan with the United States and other parts of Asia have been partially damaged, but the company has been using backup cable routes to maintain uninterrupted service.

     NTT Com’s data center services have been operating without disruption.
