NTT Communications Corporation (NTT Com) mengumumkan pada tanggal 27
Februari bahwa perusahaan ini dan operator telekomunikasi mitranya di seluruh
dunia menyepakati berbagai langkah untuk lebih meningkatkan Arcstar (TM) Global
Network Services selama Arcstar Carrier Forum 2013 di Jepang pada tanggal 26
dan 27 Februari. Arcstar Carrier Forum adalah konferensi internasional yang
diselenggarakan oleh NTT Com untuk membahas berbagai strategi guna memperkuat
layanan jaringan terkelola bermerk Arcstar untuk perusahaan multinasional.

Tahun ini, sebanyak 20 operator telekomunikasi mitra menyetujui banyak
praktek terbaik yang bertujuan meningkatkan ketersediaan layanan, menurunkan
pemutusan sambungan (outage) per saluran, meningkatkan waktu perbaikan,
mematuhi secara ketat tenggat waktu pengiriman layanan pengiriman serta memberi
pelanggan informasi real-time dan pengungkapan rinci kegagalan dan tindak
lanjut terkait.

Dalam diskusi tentang topik utama tahun ini, “Transparansi untuk
Transformasi,” para peserta mempertimbangkan cara meningkatkan kualitas
pelayanan dari segi desain, pengiriman, operasi dan pemeliharaan, dengan
penekanan khusus pada kepuasan pelanggan. Operator berbagi metode mereka untuk
memantau dan memulihkan layanan, termasuk apa yang mereka sampaikan dan
seberapa sering mereka berkomunikasi dengan pelanggan jika terjadi kerusakan.
Mereka juga menyepakati pentingnya menjaga kualitas jaringan sambil memajukan
teknologi jaringan, seperti virtualisasi jaringan OpenFlow, di era komputasi
cloud.

Dalam merayakan pertemuan kesepuluh Arcstar Carrier Forum sejak tahun 2000
ini, NTT Com memberikan penghargaan kepada para operator atas berbagai praktek

NTT Communications and Partner Carriers Agree to Strengthen Global Network Service Reliability during Arcstar Carrier Forum 2013

NTT Communications Corporation (NTT Com) announced on February 27 that the company and its global telecommunications-carrier partners agreed on a range of measures to further enhance Arcstar (TM) Global Network Services during the Arcstar Carrier Forum 2013 in Japan on February 26 and 27. The Arcstar Carrier Forum is an international conference organized by NTT Com to discuss strategies for strengthening Arcstar-branded managed network services for multinational corporations.

This year, 20 partner carriers agreed on numerous best practices aimed at improving service availability, lowering outages per line, improving time to repair, strictly adhering to service-delivery deadlines and providing customers with real-time information and detailed disclosure of failures and related follow-up.

In discussions concerning this year’s major topic, “Transparency for Transformation,” the participants considered how to improve service quality in terms of design, delivery, operation and maintenance, with a special emphasis on customer satisfaction. Carriers shared their methods for monitoring and restoring services, including what and how frequently they communicate with a customer in the event of a malfunction. They also agreed on the critical importance of maintaining network quality while advancing network technologies, such as OpenFlow network virtualization, in the era of cloud computing.

In celebration of this tenth gathering of the Arcstar Carrier Forum since 2000, NTT Com presented awards to carriers for the most outstanding quality-enhancement practices and achievements.
